Kurt Cumiskey is Assistant to the Vice Provost and Director of Libraries at North Carolina State University, where he manages the Office of the Director and works on special projects. He currently serves on the editorial board of College & Research Libraries, reviews fiction for Library Journal, and has been active in ALA International Relations Round Table.
Emily deRiel
Emily deRiel is pursuing her Masters in Public Health at the University of Washington, though which she arranged to spend the summer of 2007 working for the International Training & Education Center on HIV in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Prior to UW, she worked for many years in nonprofit and corporate communications. She has a BA in English from Yale University, a masters degree in medieval English literature from Oxford University, and won a silver medal in the sport of modern pentathlon at the 2000 Olympics.
Charles Dolan
Charles Dolan has been the Technical Services Librarian at Middlesex County College in Edison, NJ since 1996. He began at Middlesex as an adjunct reference librarian, and before that held a graduate assistantship as a special formats cataloger at Rutgers University while earning his MLS from the School of Communication, Information and Library Studies at Rutgers.
Joshua Ferraro
Joshua Ferraro, LibLime co-founder and President, Technology, currently serves as the official Koha Project Release Manager. He has been promoting open source in libraries since 2001, when he oversaw implementation of the Koha open-source library automation system at the Athens County Public Library System in Ohio. Athens County was the first library system in the United States to adopt an open-source integrated library system.
Andrea Mercado
Andrea Mercado is the Reference and Techie Librarian (her official title) at Reading Public Library in Reading, MA and a manager for the PLA Blog: The official blog of the Public Library Association. She received a Bachelors degree in English from Wesleyan University and a Master of Science from the Simmons College Graduate School of Library and Information Science.
